Sports Car Pictures... Everybody loves a Sports Car!... But what exactly is a Sports Car?

A Sports Car used to be easy to define. It used to be a two sitter with an open top that's it!... It didn't matter too much if it didn't handle too well or if it didn't have a lot of power. As long as it had two seats an open top and it was fun to drive, it was invariably called a Sports Car.

Nowadays however, we tend to call most fast two-door cars Sports Cars. It can be any combination of two doors with open top, hard top, two seats or four seats. As long as it has two doors (hatchbacks included) and it is a thrill to drive, we call it a Sports Car.

Well... We here on this Site don't fully disagree with this broad definition; however, we would like to narrow it down a bit when dealing with two door four sitters. We'll call them Sports Cars only if the rear seats are not as comfortable as the seats in a four door family sedan.

In other words, the rear seats should only sit two children or two small adults "uncomfortably", otherwise your four sitter will not be shown on this Page together with true Sports Car Pics, but don't worry, we'll show it on another Page.
