Honda Prelude Pics

History:

Enjoy the Honda Prelude VTEC Pics. As far as Performance is concerned, its power is generated by a four cylinder VTEC Engine, which makes it quite powerful and fun to drive. In case you don't know, VTEC stands for Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control.

In a nutshell, VTEC technology is a system that electronically controls Valves and Camshaft, so the Engine runs at optimal efficiency at low speeds just like a standard Engine (conserving fuel) but at high speeds it runs like a High Performance Engine, so it generates a lot of power (190HP in this case). This is more than enough power for such a small Sports Car (if you want a more detailed explanation of VTEC technology please click here).

The Car has been recently painted and is in great condition. Front and Rear "Ground Effects" were added when it was being prepared for painting. As it is obvious in the Pics, the "Ground Effects" are not dramatically low, however, the owner chose these because he doesn't want to be limited to the driving restrictions of having real low "Ground Effects".

Very low "Ground Effects" look great, but they limit the vehicle's accessibility to certain driveways. Also, despite driver's extreme caution, sometimes they get broken. For this same reason no side "Ground Effects" were installed on this Car.

The owner has two sets of wheels... One set for Winter and another set for Summer. Four of the Honda Pics on this Page were taken with the Summer Wheels on. These are Low Profile Pirelli Tires mounted on a set of 17" Polished Aluminum American Racing (Spider Style) Rims. There is also a "before" Pic (the first on the Page) so you can see the difference between the "Original Look" and the "Performance Look".

This is the 95 Honda Prelude Rear Pic. Wondering what is that small white spec in the Prelude's Rear Window at the top? It is not very clear due to the slope of the window, but that white spot is a "Superman" decal. You see... "Superman" is the Super Hero of the Honda Prelude's owner.
