99 Camaro Z28 Pics

History:

I have been wanting an F-body for a long time, I just couldn't find the right car at the right time. My unit and I just returned home from Iraq; we flew in on a Saturday. I immediately started asking my wife if I could look around for a good Z28 or SS. The very next Monday I looked at a 1997 Z-28 but I didn't get a warm fuzzy about it. The salesman told me about a 1999 Hugger Orange Z-28 he just received from a trade-in sitting out back waiting to get detailed. As soon as we rounded the corner of the building I saw the sun reflecting off her bright orange paint and I knew this was the one. We took it for a test drive and it was love at first launch. When the sale was final my wife seemed to be more excited than I was. My wife even named her Louwanda; I have no idea where that name came from.

The power Louwanda puts out without any mods is unbelievable. On top of that she rides really good, has a premium sound system, and the exhaust rattles your fillings from about 3,000 rpm+.

The only problem I have now is my wife has the fever. She wants to trade in the Venture minivan for an SS Trailblazer. That is fine with me.

I've only had Louwanda for 2 weeks now so no funny stories yet. I did turn the traction control system off one time and realized why it has TCS. I stomped the gas and the rear-end stepped out so fast it turned my blood ice cold. Needless to say I am still getting used to it.

I plan on adding a lot of HP (possibly by way of a supercharger), beefing up the drive train, and adding some minor trim enhancements to make her look better while maintaining a stock look.

	This is a great Picture of the 1999 Camaro Z28. It is no wonder that the owner (and his wife) fell in love with this car at first site. The two tone color orange and black go really well together on this beauty. The five spoke Rims and low profile Tires complete the performance look of this Muscle Car. Front Picture of the 1999 Camaro Z28. This Muscle Car doesn't have a fancy front with any chrome widgets or trim, but it is still nice to look at. The low stance of this machine and the sleek front look, leaves no doubt in your mind that this car is a very fast car. But as fast as it is, the owner has plans to make some modifications that will make it even faster. Click on the Pic to enlarge.
	Very nice Picture of the 1999 Camaro Z28. Everything is exposed... Trunk, interior and the engine. The picture is not a close-up of the engine, so no details can be seen, however, it is obvious that the intention of the picture was not to focus on the engine, it is more of a general view of the whole car. Another great Picture of the 1999 Camaro Z28. This picture shows the whole car again, but this time with the doors, the trunk and the hood closed. 	Rear view of the 1999 Camaro Z28. Actually the side is perhaps more visible than the rear on this picture, however, enough of the rear is visible to appreciate it's clean look. Another thing that is visible on this picture is one of the dual tail pipes.
