76 Ford Ranchero History
Here are the 76 Ford Ranchero History and Engine Specs
The car was found behind a shed. It didn't run and the body needed painting. I
got the
motor rebuilt and the car painted. The engine is a 400CID stock, with a
2 barrel carb. It goes from 0 to 60 in 6.5 secs. The tires are 14 inches with Positive traction rear end and with automatic transmission (I would like to put a 4 speed trany in it) it has air which still works great and am/fm /cassette not factory.
I try to keep it as much as possible original... no fancy dress kit or anything like that. The paint is the same paint number as the car/truck was from the factory. Everything is stock, but there is still a little work to be done to it... like the headliner and the tail gate latch, just little things like that. Also the Carpet is new and it's factory.
It's
driven to town at least once a week for joy riding. This Car/Truck does turn some heads...
Actually many people has
walked up to me and asked about the car. They usually say that they haven't seen
many or these Car/Trucks around (I know that there are only two of them around here
where I live). It's a good feeling when people ask me about my 76 Ford Ranchero.
