74 Dodge Charger Pics

Here are some of the 74 Charger Specs and Mods:

ENGINE

• The Charger has a 383 Magnum bored 30 over.

• 750 Holly carb.

• 727 tranny with 3 stage shift kit.

• 3500 stall Converter.

• 391 gears in the rear.

• Custom Interior.

History:

The 74 Dodge Charger was originally a track-car only, built by my father and it ran 11's with street tires on. My father bought it about 11 years ago and restored it.

I bought it from my dad in the Spring of 2001 after my dad built a 50 Ford Truck with a 454 Chevy and I converted it back to a street car. I added my personal touches to the interior and under the hood as well as ground lights.

In the summer of 2002 I was pulled over for the hood scoop and charged for obstruction of view (damn cops) I fought the ticket and won as long as I changed the hood.

In the Spring of 2003, I brought out the Charger with a primer grey hood with no scoop. Nova Dave said "In my opinion, I think it looks better without the scoop, but Dan loves his scoop" (I love bugging that guy) I hope you read this Dave.

In the Spring of 2004 I decided to take another chance with my hood with the scoop. Drove it all summer with the scoop and didn't get pulled over not even once.

It won't see the road in 2005, because it is undergoing some changes that won't be described until it comes out in 2006 or 2007 depending on how long it'll take me.

I'll see everyone in the Summer of 2005 in my 350 small block lowered S10.

The 74 Dodge Charger will never be complete... Always something to add.
