It is a 11:1 350,
4-speed, 12 bolt car that runs 12.20's in the quarter. The motor has ported
Vortec heads, Performer rpm intake, 750 double pumper and hpc coated headers
with Flowmaster exhaust
I bought this car locally from a guy here in
Cincinnati who didn't have time for it. It had been sitting for 8 years and I
got it for 3200 bucks and drove it home. The first thing I did was put a new
trunk in, the trunk floor and gas tank supports were gone, but the floorboards
were in great shape.
Then I cleaned up the interior with new carpet, a radio and
added the console gauges. I never pulled the motor out, when I took off the
stock heads I found pop up pistons, so I just put in a new 488 lift cam with 1.6
ratio rockers, a timing chain, and heads & intake. The Muncie m21 was in
perfect shape so I put in a Centerforce clutch and was off! The car has run great
ever since. I did a little body work to clean it up, the passenger side fender had a rust
hole, so I fixed that and just touched up the rest of the car
