History:
The Car was purchased with a blown Head Gasket.
Engine's firing order was altered to make Car run smooth by Car Dealership.
Projects in progress... Head Gasket repaired and installing new Wiring Harness

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Changes might be made to this page in the near future. The owner of a 69 AMX and a 51 Willis both also on this site brought to my attention that the instrument cluster, the hood with the aftermarket hood scoop, the instrument cluster, the grill, dash speaker pad, dash plaque on glove box (probably from an 68 AMX because javelins didn't have dash plaques) belong to a 68, not a 69 AMC Javelin. I am contacting the owner asking him to explain why the car looks like a 68, but he submitted it as a 69. If he confirms that he made a mistake, I will make the necessary changes. If he doesn't, I will leave it as is (but leave this note here) because I suppose that it is possible that the car is a 69 modified to look like a 68.

Pretty good Picture of the 1969 AMC Javelin. The exterior color of this Muscle Car seems to be black and like all black Cars, it looks better in the shade. Actually the Car itself is not in the shade, but the side of the Car that the Picture shows certainly is. AMC Javelins were very nice and fast Muscle Cars and those that survived including the one in this Pic still are. Click on the Picture to enlarge. |
Excellent Front Picture of the 1969 AMC Javelin. The exterior color of this Muscle Car is definitely black as it can be seen on this Picture. Except for a small deformation on the right/lower side of the Front Bumper (left/lower in the picture) the Front of this beauty is in excellent shape. Click on the Pic to enlarge. |

Engine Picture of the 1969 AMC Javelin. This is the 390 the owner mentions had a blown Head Gasket which he repaired. He also mentioned that the Dealer had changed the Spark Plugs' firing order to make the Engine run smoother. This Engine is so clean and with so much Chrome on and surrounding it that it looks like a brand new Engine just out of the factory. Click on the Picture to enlarge. |
Here is a Picture of the Dashboard of the AMC Javelin. Everything on this Dash with the exception of what seems to be a Tack and the Steering Wheel seems to be original. However, the Rally type Steering Wheel and the added Tack make the cockpit of this Muscle Car look like the Cockpit of a Race Car. Rear Picture of the AMC Javelin. The Rear Bumper definitely looks like it's in much better condition than the Front Bumper. In fact the whole Rear of this beauty is in such an excellent shape that it makes this Muscle Car look like it just came out of the assembly line.
