This 1968 Chevy C-10 Short wide was
purchased by me around 20 years ago for $300.00. It came with the usual bench
set w/ McDonalds hamburgers stuffed in it, dents, grease all those options.
It
has been in many states. Even has quite a rep for being a fast machine.
It took many years but along the way I've managed to create a vicious circle
here. This is extremely reliable (drive across the country reliable).
Really
fast as in high 12 sec 1/4 mile fast, & gets good gas mileage yea!
Gas mileage if you dont use much pedal. These Shortwides are light, every bolt
was gone through/blasted/ etching primer /one pc drive shaft/engine set
back/Engine:
Real massive parts do you know? like Dart Pro 1 aluminium heads, JE
pistons, eagle rods /reasonable pressures/greedy machine work everything
balanced within a gram, ground polished / tolerances over kill. Never mind,
here's a good engine combo. Paul's 355 Chevy recipe.
