68 Camaro Convertible Pics

POWERTRAIN

• Bone stock numbers matching 327 CID V8.

• Powerglide 2 speed auto shifted convertible.

• New Carb 390 cfm.

• Rocker Covers.

• New Exhaust System.

History:

Owned since 1989, she is called "Camilla".

She has had a full bare metal respray in Bentley dark blue in 1997, and a new interior from Classic Industries in Florida USA.

Most of the work was done by RPM in Aldershot England, who are experts in Muscle car restorations. They do a lot for Lord March. Since I hold an International Race licence we have souped up the suspension. It has poly bushings, Bilstein race sleeved shock absorbers, and Carbon fibre rear springs, a rear anti roll bar and a thicker front anti roll bar. She is also lower than stock at the front.

Camilla has only ever had three previous owners, the third owner was a flight Lieutenant in the RAF, who bought the car in Florida.

He later became a Wing Commander and commanded the RAF Station at Lossiemouth near my Scottish Farm.

I then discovered that he had married a friend of my sister's! So we did have fun when we got them over for lunch (in Scotland!).

I served in the Blues and Royals (Royal HorseGuards 1st Dragoons) between 1978- 1986, Andrew Parker-Bowles was my commanding Officer. However, that is not the reason why Camilla is so called. Just thought I would put the record straight as everyone asks me this!

	Very nice Picture of the 1968 Camaro Convertible. This Muscle Car is all original except for the Suspension which has been souped up. The Wheels are original as can be seen on the Picture. Some of the original components had to be replaced, but they were replaced with true replacements of the original. Click on the Picture to enlarge.
Picture of the Front of the 68 Chevy Camaro Convertible. It looks great with the white stripe wrapping around the front. This is a beautiful and powerful Muscle Car. It must be a great experience cruising in it with the top down. I am sure that this Car turns a lot of heads as it drives by and stares when parked. Click on the Pic to enlarge.
	Rear Picture of the 1968 Camaro Convertible. This Car doesn't have a Rear Spoiler, but it still looks good. The two Rear Exhaust Pipes can be seen on this Picture. This is a Picture of the Side of the 1968 Camaro Convertible. Very nice Picture where the almost like new condition of the Rag Top as well as the original Wheel Covers are obvious. Also the Passenger Side (Left side... Car built for the British roads) Tail Pipe is clearly visible on this Picture. Please click on the Pic to enlarge.
	Interior Picture of the 1968 Camaro Convertible with the Top Down. This could be a great Picture if it was not as dark as it is. Unfortunately because it's so dark, the Dashboard can hardly be seen.
