History:
Purchased from an older man in Michigan who was sad to see it go.
I was driving to a car show one day and went over some railroad tracks. I did not see that that part of the rails were sticking up from the tracks until it was to late. I hit and it turned me sideways on the road. I had extensive K member damage. It is all being fixed with a new chassis works K member custom made for my application. I figured while I'm doing this I might as well add tubular A arms and coil overs. The problem was I only had 3 inches of clearance between K member and the road. Now with coil overs I can adjust the height.
Working on a 429 SCJ 4 bolt and in a project for this car approx. 750HP.

Real mean picture of the 1963 Ford Ranchero. That fairly big hood scoop combined with the black color of this truck makes it look like a mean racing machine. Also the wheel rims even though nice, are definitely not fancy at all which also contributes to the mean look of this Hot Rod. The owner doesn't say how many Horse Power the engine has, but he is working on a 750HP to put in it in the near future... Wow!... Click on the Picture to enlarge. |
Here is a picture of the 460 Big block of the 1963 Ford Ranchero. This engine is obviously the engine presently inside the engine compartment of this Hot Rod, but the owner is working on a 750HP engine right now to replace this one in the near future. Great picture of the interior of the 1963 Ford Ranchero most specifically a picture of the Dashboard. Take a look at how many extra gauges this Hot Rod has. This is certainly an indication of the fact that this is a great Hot Rod. Even though there are so many gauges, they are all mounted in a way that doesn't make the cabin of this truck seem clattered. Rear picture of the 1963 Ford Ranchero. Can you tell that this Hot Rod is built for racing? All you have to look at is those massively wide rear tires to see that this truck must be fast. There are no tail pipes visible coming out the rear of this truck, but this is because they come out on both sides in front of the rear wheels. Very nice picture of the front of the 1963 Ford Ranchero. Look at that large air intake scoop on the hood. If the air intake scoop is any indication of the kind of power the engine has, then this Hot Rod must be extremely fast. However, the owner didn't specify what kind of horse power the engine presently on the truck has, but what he said was that he is working on a new 750HP engine to replace it.
