"I checked out your site, it is awesome, I am very pleased with the way you presented my TA. My TA is on a few sites, but it is not presented as well as in yours. Thank you very much for the excellent presentation."

History:

I bought this car at the end of Oct 2009 from a private party who in turn had bought it from someone else in Kentucky who ran a car museum.

It still has the original Engine (presently with only 31,000 Miles on it) and the original paint job which is, Mardi Grass Red and Frost White Altho. I think that the colors have changed on their own throughout the years.

The Metropolitan is an American car, but manufactured in England because it was cheaper making them in England. The car was made from 1954-1961. There are British Metropolitans in England with a right hand drive.

My car was in the 2010 Iola, Wisconsin Old Car Show. It was in the Blue Ribbon section which is by invitation only.

Here are some of the 60 Nash Metropolitan Pics:

60 Nash Metropolitan

Here is a great Picture of the 1960 Nash Metropolitan. Everything in this Classic is original including the Engine, the Transmission, the two tone paint and all. It is a true show car and according to the owner has been in a few car shows. In fact it has also been in the 2010 Iola, Wisconsin Old Car Show. It was in the Blue Ribbon section which is by invitation only. Click on the Picture to enlarge.

Picture of the Rear View of the 1960 Nash Metropolitan. It is hard to believe that the two-tone paint job is still the original. But not only the paint job, the Tail Lights, the Gas Tank Cap and the Rear Bumper as well as the Spare Tire Cover are all original and all in excellent condition as is obvious on this picture. Click on the Pic to enlarge.

60 Nash Metropolitan Rear
60 Nash Metropolitan Corner

This Picture of the rear corner of the 1960 Nash Metropolitan gives a good idea why this Classic is being shown in "by invitation only" car shows or specialty car shows sections. I am sure that this is a real head turner whether it is being shown in car shows, driven, or when it is just parked somewhere. The owner must be constantly getting a lot of thumbs up and compliments about this beauty. Please click to enlarge.

Wow, look at this picture of the front of the 1960 Nash Metropolitan. Everything is where it is supposed to be and it all looks like new. All the chrome on this Classic beauty is in excellent shape, Bumpers, Light Bezels, Front Grill, Body Trim, etc. I guess that the nick name of the Nash Metropolitan is "Cream Puff"... Click on the Picture to enlarge.

60 Nash Metropolitan Front
60 Nash Metropolitan Side

Very nice Picture of the 1960 Nash Metropolitan Side. This picture also shows a bit of the rear of this beauty, but it's the side that is mainly visible. The original Tubeless 5.6 x 13 4 Ply as well as the Factory Hub Caps can very clearly be seen on this Picture. The two color choice of the paint really make an excellent combination. Click on the picture to enlarge to better appreciate this beauty.
