Three on the Tree.
History:
The cheapest Plymouth for 1958. Still has original Flat Head Six and Three on the Tree ... but the Engine has been rebuilt & detailed and now has dual Carbs ... the exterior now has the sport tone trim common to the Belvedere or Fury ...
Bought on e-Bay December 2005 ... have been working on it since ... may end up looking like a Christine eventually ....
Sad story .... sold my 1957 Plymouth Sport Suburban to buy this car ... the Sport Suburban was much nicer and this Plaza will never be worth half of what I have spent on it already :(

He seems to regret having sold his 57 Plymouth Sport Suburban to buy this Beauty, but I think he did well, because this is a very nice Classic. Here is a Picture of the rebuilt and detailed original Flat Head Six Engine, upgraded with 2 Carboretors. It's obvious that the owner did a great job. Not only the Engine, but also the Engine Compartment look very clean... just like new. Click to enlarge. |
