ENGINE / TRANSMISSION
History:
This was a frame off restoration that took four and a half years to complete. We did all the work ourselves except body and paint. It has won several car show awards and we are very proud and love it. It has 963 in a 1000 pt. judging at the CCI show in Hagerstown MD on 7/ 5/07.
We broke the first windshield. We had a hard time installing a new one, but we finally got it done.
I have 7 Cameos and I am always looking for parts and trucks. 2 55's need restored, 1 56 needs restored 2 57's one done and one being restored now. Paint and body is already done, just needs assembly. 2 58's one is a driver and one is a shell.

Beautifully restored 1957 Chevy Cameo. This Picture actually does not show the splendor of this Truck because it shows the side that is in the shade, so it's hard to see any details. However, from what can be seen, one can tell that there is no doubt that this is a beautiful Truck. No wonder that this beauty has won several awards at auto shows. Click on the Picture to enlarge. |
Very nice Picture of the front of the 1957 Chevy Cameo. There is a lot of chrome on the Front of this Truck and also on the Hood. The best part is that all this chrome seems to be in excellent shape. In fact it all looks like new... It's all shiny and there are no visible nicks or dents. There is no doubt that the owner did a great job restoring this beauty. Click on the Pic to enlarge. |

Great Picture of the side of the 1957 Chevy Cameo. This really is a beautifully restored Truck. The red and white colors go great together and the wide white wall Tires accentuate the "oldie" look of it. This beauty has won several awards at auto shows.
