Hi: My name is Jim Zangakis and just below are my 54 Chevy 3100 Pics, Specs and History.
Here are some of the 54 Chevy 3100 Specs and Mods:
POWERTRAIN AND MORE:
-
1954 Chevy 3100 5 window.
-
Sitting on a 1978 Olds Delta 88.
-
With an Olds 400 Small Block.
History:
Truck came out of PA. Took about a year off and on for body, paint and woodwork. Most of the wood came from an old fence.
Always get looks and thumbs up while driving. Several times my brother and I were asked to pose for pics by the truck. One guy had asked me to pose with the truck after taking several pics of the truck itself. He then told me that he was from Tennessee and they have lots of bootleggers there.
Always working on projects.

Isn't this a beauty of a Truck? Great Picture of the 1954 Chevy 3100. Very well done especially the wood part which according to the owner most of it came out of a fence. The combination of wood, satin black exterior paint job and wide white walls front tires make this Truck quite an original piece of art. Click on the Pic to enlarge. |
Excellent Picture of the Front of the 1954 Chevy 3100 Truck. Look at all that shining chrome without a blemish. Great touch with the art around the logo on the front of the Hood. Everything that was done on this Truck compliments everything else to make this a great looking Truck. Click on the Pic to enlarge. |

What a great Picture showing the Rear of the 54 Chevy 3100. The Chevrolet bow carved into the wood at both sides of the Rear look great. A third bow also made out of wood was added at the center top of the Rear "Gate" to complete the whole Chevy setup. Click on the Picture to enlarge. |
Picture of the artistic Dashboard. Actually a lot of wood was added to the interior of this Truck not only the Dashboard. Wood is covering the Door Posts, it's above the Doors, Door Panels, etc. There certainly is a lot of wood on this Truck, but it all was done in very good taste and it all makes this Truck really stand out. Another Picture of the Interior of the 1954 Chevy 3100 Truck. Very nice combination of red and black Bucket Seats with a red and gray Steering Wheel and Wood Dashboard, Door Panels and more. A lot of thought went into putting this Truck together to make sure that the final product was going to look great. And in the end, all the hard work and long hours paid off.
